DHIRISTI PARIHARAM: STORY OF NASIKETHAS

Why do People who practicse Black Magic don't eat in the victims house?

We have studied that the people who practise Black Magic do not eat or drink in the victim's place. What is the logic behind it? Why do they not eat? For this, let us find out the story of Nasikethas.

Once there lived a devout who was named as Vajasravas. He had conducted a very big Yagna (or Yajna), where all his wealth were sacrificed to the needy. That is, the person who conducts this Yagna would hand over all his wealth to anyone, who are in need of it. His son Nasikethas was curious and wanted to know to whom he would be offered or handed over. Nasikethas asked the question repeatedly to his father. Annoyed and irritated by his son Nasikethas constant query, his father retorted by saything that he had offered Nasikethas to Lord Yama.

Nasikethas decided to fulfill the words of his father. Hence he had decided to visit the Yama Loga (Yama's world) by himself. Nasikethas was able to travel to Yama loga without losing this earthly body, because of their family's sacrifices.

When Nasikethas arrived in the Yama Loga, the Lord Yama was not there. The subordinates of Yama were astonished to find a human who had bodily arrived into the Yama loga, which was next to impossible. They had realized that the Nasikethas must have had the divine power to reach the Yama loga without leaving the body. They had also found the Nasikethas was fearless. Hence the subordinates of the Lord Yama invited the Nasikethas and offered him the best hospitality that was avialable there. They requested him to make himself comfortble till the arrival of Lord Yama.

Nasikethas told them that he was into an important fasting and hence rejected all the comforts that was offered to him. Nasikethas did not eat anything and did not drink water for the first 3 days in the Yama Loga. On the 3rd day, the Lord Yama arrived. He was astonsihed to find a human who had bodily arrived into his place and was staying there without any fear.

Lord Yama went to Nasikethas and asked him, whethere he was satisfied with their hospitality. Lord Yama asked Nasikethas "What you ate on the first day?". Nasikethas replied that I had ate your children. Lord Yama asked Nasikethas "What you ate on the second day?". Nasikethas replied Lord Yama that he ate all his virtues.

Fear ran through the spine of Lord Yama, since the Lord Yama understood the real meaning of what Nasikethas told him. Let us see the meaning of what Nasikethas told Lord Yama.

If a Guest comes to your house and didn't not eat anything or didn't drink water, it could create disaster to the children of your family. If a Guest stays on for the next day and doesn't eat anything or drink anything, then your whole family could face disastrous situation.

Lord Yama begged the Nasikethas and offered anything at his disposal to save him from the disaster. Nasikethas was offered long life longevity and many wonderful things for this earthly life by the Lord Yama. Nasikethas had received all the benefits and in turn had released the Lord Yama from the disastrous curse.

This Nasikethas story must be eye opener to everyone. If anyone of your friend/relative who visits your house refuse to eat or drink in your home, then you must be very careful about those peoples. These people may prefer to eat or drink anything that is cooked from outside or purchased from any resturant.

In the next post, let us find out the planetary positions of the peoples who practicise the Black Magic.
